Unlimited Free Mobile Internet Without Wi-fi! (Working as of August. 28)

Alright, since the Globe Magic IP trick is not functional anymore (nobody knows when those IPs will be up again), you may use the other trick that I've been using. The MyGlobe CONNECT trick.


(This trick is reported to be not working with everybody. So please don't flame my post if the trick does not works for you. Just post your location so people would know where the trick does not usually works.)

This free internet trick works only for Globe Subscribers and for Nokia Series 60 user(Other cellphone brand users may try this too. if you have a Java module or atleast a Java Emulator in your phone.)

*UPDATE: The file provided in here is a .sis file which is only supported by Nokia phones. I’m gonna upload a .jar(java) file soon. 

Step 1:

Download "THIS" first. It containts the Opera Mini that you will be using. You may use WinRar to unpack the files.

For those who do not have WinRar, you may download the files separately:

Opera Mini.sis

Opera Globe Patch.sis

You may transfer the files by USB Cable or Bluetooth. Here's How:

USB Cable Method: Plug-in your phone, choose Mass Storage. A window will open with your files in it. Just paste the Opera files you downloaded anywhere in the folder if you have an X-Plore or other file explorers. If you don't, paste the files in your "INSTALLS" folder. It is usually located in "X:\Data\Installs" where X pertains to your "C" (phone memory) or "E" (Memory Card. The memory drive may differ. It may be "F" or other letters.).

Bluetooth Method: Open your bluetooth device in both your phone and PC (ofcourse! lol). Connect to your phone from your PC, upon successful connection, a window will appear showing two folders, your Phone Memory Drive and your Memory Card Drive. Now, you just have to paste the files in that window. The files will automatically be sent to your inbox. You can install the files from your inbox just by clicking it. No need to go to "C" or "E" unless you want to keep a copy of the file.

*ALWAYS REMEMBER TO INSTALL "OPERA MINI.SIS" FIRST THEN THE "OPERA GLOBE PATH.SIS" AFTERWARDS

Step 2:

Get an Internet Connection from Globe.

To do so, type GO then send to 2951. Ex. GO 5800 then send to 2951 <– Only for Nokia Users.

Other Methods:

In your cellphone device, Go to Menu > Help > Welcome/Operator Settings. Your phone will define the connection settings by itself.

Or you can just make your own connection!

Here are the settings:

Connection Name: anything you want. (Preferably MyGlobe CONNECT)

Data Bearer: Packet Data

Access Point Name (APN): www.globe.com.ph

Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp 

then go to Options > Advanced Settings, and do these:

IP Address: Automatic (0.0.0.0)

Proxy Server Address: 203.177.42.214

Proxy Port Number: 8080

After doing all these, it’s time to open your Opera Mini.

Upon opening, it will ask for an internet connection, choose the connection you just made.

Internal installation done by the Opera Mini takes time so please be patient.

If everything goes well, especially the internal installation, then free internet is now in your hands. :)

*TO ALL PHONES WITH WIFI: I SUGGEST DOING THE INTERNAL INSTALLATION USING WIFI CONNECTION TO SAVE TIME. THEN BROWSE USING THE MYGLOBE CONNECT TRICK.
